The Zauchenseehof Family Hotel in Salzburger Land will present itself from the winter season 2025/26 with even more quality and vacation feeling. The traditional house of the Walchhofer host family welcomes its guests with a modern designed exterior view and 64 newly renovated rooms with family-friendly design. The proven restaurant world has been expanded and is now equipped with a front cooking station. There is also more on offer in the pool and wellness area: a 19-m pool in the hotel’s indoor pool and 2 adventure slides in the children’s pool. The highlight is the Adults Only Spa on the fourth floor of the 4-star Zauchenseehof: Relaxing in the panoramic sauna and relaxing in the infinity whirlpool outdoors is now part of the family vacation.

Welcome to the snow paradise Altenmarkt Zauchensee in the Salzburg Sports World. The family ski area is located at 1350 m in the Ski amadé region with 210 connected kilometers of slopes and with connection to the Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl ski area. Winter sports in the World Cup Arena Zauchensee: skiing, freeriding, snowboarding, ski touring, snowshoeing and winter hiking. With the 12-Peaks ski tour you can experience 12 peaks and 5 valleys in one day. Perfect family vacation at the Zauchenseehof: stylish rooms, ski lifts in the immediate vicinity, ski school office in the hotel, sports shops with equipment rental next door and the ski practice area for beginners right next to the hotel.
