How to get to us relaxed
Zauchenseehof is easy to reach by car. Well-developed roads take you directly to the idyllic Zauchensee in Salzburger Land. Public transport also gets you to the region comfortably, including transfer options right to the hotel.
Arrival to Zauchensee
Car
Zauchensee is easily accessible by car. Coming from Salzburg or Italy via the A10 (Tauernautobahn), take the Altenmarkt im Pongau exit and follow the signs to Zauchensee. From Altenmarkt, it is 10 km via the B252 (Zauchensee Landesstraße) to the vacation paradise of Zauchensee.
Train, Bus
Our nearest train stations are in Altenmarkt i.Pg. (11 km) and Radstadt (15 km). From both train stations, the public bus (line no. 523) goes directly to Zauchensee (see link for Regionalbus timetable information). With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use public transport free of charge during your stay. If you like, we can send you the ticket one day before arrival.
Airplane
The nearest airports are Salzburg (W. A. Mozart Airport, 80 km) and Munich (F. J. Strauß, 246 km). From there, take a rental car or public transport (train, bus) to Zauchensee. Alternatively, we would be happy to organize a transfer with our local taxi company.

For a relaxed and eco-friendly journey, we offer our guests at the Zauchenseehof family hotel in SalzburgerLand modern charging stations for electric cars right at the hotel. In total, you have 5 e-charging stations available:
- 3 charging stations outdoors at the hotel – ideal for convenient charging during your stay
- 2 charging stations in our underground garage – sheltered and especially convenient
Our e-charging stations are compatible with all common charging cards, so you can charge your electric vehicle easily. We also offer you an in-house hotel charging card, which currently lets you charge at a price of €0.50 per kWh.
