The Zauchenseehof is located directly in the Zauchensee-Flachauwinkel-Kleinarl ski area and at the valley station of the Rosskopf gondola. Everything is quickly accessible on foot: practice lift and area, as well as sports shops with equipment rental. The office of the Walchhofer Ski School is also located in the 4-star Hotel Zauchenseehof, where ski courses can be booked.

Cross-country Skiing in the Valley
Zauchensee-Altenmarkt is one of the best cross-country skiing regions in Austria. The well-developed network of trails is classic and prepared for skating.

Let's go tobogganing with the family: Sonnalm toboggan run, night toboggan run on the Hochbifang and Berggasthof Winterbauer toboggan run.
Après-ski
After sun, snow and fun on the slopes, head to après-ski in the umbrella bar or the Almbar in the Zauchenseehof.

The Tauernkarbahn leads to the Rauchkopf with the Rauchkopfhütte and the Sonnalm. On the back side is the Tauernkar drag lift with a blue slope.
Zauchi's Kinderland, including a magic carpet, platter lift, and carousel, is the ideal practice area for little ski beginners.
The 10-seater Schwarzwandbahn leads to the Gamskogel. From there, you can access the EAST freeride area, the Zauchensee World Cup slope, or various downhill runs into the valley.
The two sections of the Gamskogel chairlifts offer the best slope conditions until April. For a sunny stop, head to the Gamskogelhütte.
The Unterberg steep slope is one of the most beautiful ski slopes in the Eastern Alps. There are blue slopes in the flatter Unterberg II section, and children can let off steam in the fun park.
The Rosskopfbahn is the entry point to the ski area with 210 connected kilometers of slopes. It is also a starting point for the 12 Peaks Trophy.
The Übungslift-See with a beginner area is located directly at the Zauchenseehof. The final races of the ski school take place here.
Ideal for families - everything is within easy reach: the ski school office, the meeting point, the Winterwelt practice area, the practice lift and the Zauchenseebahn Rosskopf.

At the rustic Garnhofhütte in Zauchensee, guests can enjoy regional cuisine and a sun terrace at 1350 m.
Enjoyable stop after hiking or skiing days: In addition to regional cuisine, a rustic restaurant, the Felserhütte in the center of Zauchensee also offers a sun terrace.
The Topsport Klieber shop with ski and snowboard rental is located in the center of Zauchensee.

With the regional bus 523 Zauchensee-Altenmarkt-Flachau-Radstadt free through the Salzburger Land. Zauchenseehof guests receive the Guest Mobility Ticket upon check-in.
