Introduction

Zauchensee Walchhofer GmbH strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the
Federal Disability Equality Act (BGStG) and the technical requirements in accordance with the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Level AA conformance.

State of Compliance with the Requirements

This website is largely barrier-free. We are constantly working to
further improve accessibility within the scope of technical possibilities.

Analysis Tools

We use Axe Dev Tools and LambdaTest Accessibility to test and optimize accessibility.

Technical Support

The Ally Elementor tool is used to support usability.
This allows users to adjust font sizes or increase contrasts if desired,
unless this has already been implemented directly in the design.

Known Limitations

Contrast & Design

1. Header image labels: Due to changing background colors, contrast values
are not always recognized correctly. However, readability is subjectively given. If necessary, the
contrast function of Ally Elementor can be used.

2. Corporate Design: Corporate design specifications do not allow optimal contrasts in all areas
. Ally Elementor can also help here.

Multimedia

3. Videos: Some embedded videos do not have subtitles or audio descriptions.

4. Subtitles: Subtitles will be taken into account in future productions; existing videos cannot currently be added subsequently.

5. Interactive panoramas: These are not fully accessible in all cases.

External Content and Widgets

6. Rating widgets: External widgets from different providers contain barriers that we cannot fully influence.

7. Booking process: Certain offer content is provided via the external provider Vioma. Adjustments are only possible to a limited extent. The provider is continuously working on improvements.

Documents

8. PDFs: Some PDF files are not fully accessible.

9. Creation: New PDFs are created to be as accessible as possible; existing documents are gradually adapted.

Alternative Texts

10. Images: Alternative texts are sometimes missing for decorative or embedded images.

Structure and Semantics

11. Headings: The hierarchy is not consistently correct on all pages (e.g. jumps from H2 to H4).

12. Lists: Some list elements (<li>) are not within a semantically correct list (<ul>/<ol>).

ARIA Attributes

13. aria-hidden: Certain aria-hidden elements still contain focusable content,
which does not meet the WCAG requirements (4.1.2).

Areas with an Increased Number of Errors

14. Pages: The Booking, Inquiries, Vouchers and Guest Reviews pages currently have a higher number of barriers.

15. Revision: These areas are undergoing technical revision by the manufacturers.

16. Use: Until this work is completed, content and functions may only be available to a limited extent for users with assistive technologies.
